Turned Maple Salad Bowl by Lee Buck

Lee Buck is a long-time LEPOCO member.  His beautiful hand-turned wooden bowls have graced the Art Raffle for several years.  He is a woodworker and a gardener.

Hand-Crocheted Afghan by Michelle Sheehan

Following the tradition started by her mother, Anna Reczek, Anna’s youngest daughter, Michelle Sheehan, has crocheted a cozy afghan with soft, warm yarn in a multicolored variegated yarn in beautiful gossamer colors.  The yarn is from the Red Heart “Unforgettable” line.  Sue Verbalis, Michelle’s sister, has supplied the yarn for the afghan art raffle projects, first by Anna Reczek and now by Michelle. 

Appliqued Quilt Wall Hanging by Old-Fashioned Quilting Bee

This lovely hanging quilt made with batik fabric was created by a quilting bee at a small church in Hellertown.  The design includes flowers and birds and measures about 35” x 35”.  Ellen Buck is a retired occupational therapist, the long-time anchor of the monthly (now weekly) Bethlehem Peace Vigil, and a creator of needlecrafts and greeting card drawings.

Large Bowl for Pasta or Saladfrom Sommerville Pottery

Monica Sommerville (formerly of Allentown) creates beautiful, functional pottery at her home and studio in the Finger Lakes region of New York state.  This year’s donation is a large wheel-thrown stoneware pottery bowl in a glossy deep red.  Fans of Sommerville Pottery can find her work online at sommervillepottery.com, where you can purchase pieces through the Etsy store.

Hand-Crocheted Granny Shawl by Philomena Gruppo

Philomena Gruppo is a retired nurse practitioner, who has been crocheting since she was 8 years old, taught by her grandmother.  She has made a triangular “Granny Shawl” in bright colors, which can be wrapped completely around you.  It measures 90+” across the top edge and 45” from the top edge to the point.

No purchase required to participate.  A purchase will not increase the odds of winning.  The chance for winning depends on how many tickets are sold or are submitted and how many people choose to put their tickets toward a given prize.  The chances of winning a given prize could range from 1 in 50 to 1 in 10,000. 

One prize per person.  If a name is drawn more than once, subsequent prizes will be drawn again.
