Olga Negrón and Michael Colón have been working with Bethlehem For Good Government to craft and pass an ethics ordinance for the City of Bethlehem. Barbara Diamond, Breena Holland, and Peter Crownfield are among the citizens involved in the Good Government group. The group has done extensive research about ethics ordinances in other cities. The ordinance would provide a set of restrictions, procedures and oversight tools to deter public officials from acting in their own self-interest typically for financial gain. This is a local effort to minimize money’s role in politics. Everyone is invited to this discussion, but especially Bethlehem residents who want to learn how they can support this effort.

Attendees are invited to bring food to share for the Potluck Dinner at 6:30 pm.

Discussion will start around 7:00 pm.
