Kathy Kelly co-coordinates Voices for Creative Nonviolence, based in Chicago. She has traveled extensively around the globe to areas impacted by violence and U.S. wars. She has done special work with the Afghan Peace Volunteers. She has been arrested numerous times for acts of nonviolent direct action, recently especially in resistance to the U.S. drone wars. She has done extensive writing and speaking to share her concern about the victims of U.S. militarism. She has won numerous awards for her work for peace.
