Berks County Sheriff Weaknecht has announced plans to apply to authorize his deputies to act as ICE agents.  This would open the door to racial targeting and unlawful detentions.  Berks County is home to thousands of immigrant families, especially in the city of Reading.   A car pool from Allentown will leave at 10:30 am from the parking lot at St Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 N. 7th St.
