Longtime activists, Guy Gray & Greta Browne have been living in the countryside of Brazil since 2011. They are homesteading, but remain active in peace, justice and environmental concerns, as they were when they lived in the Lehigh Valley. On Sunday, November 24th, 4 pm at the LEPOCO office (313 W. 4th St., (south) Bethlehem), they will share thoughts on the present government changes, the impacts of climate change in Brazil, and the environmental activism on a local level. Their many contributions in the Lehigh Valley include Greta’s Green Party candidacy for Congress in 2006 and Guy’s ties to the historic Catholic Worker Farm on Morgan Hill near Easton.

Attendees are encouraged to bring food to share for the potluck dinner at 4 pm. The discussion should start around 4:30 pm

The public is invited. There is no charge. For more information call 610-691-8730. LEPOCO is a local citizens’ group, based in Bethlehem that has been addressing issues of peace and justice for 50 years.
