LEPOCO is an active Peace and Justice community. We host a variety of local talks, walks, demonstrations, political action and more. We offer carpools to larger national events in NYC and D.C. and organize a number of reoccurring and annual events. Check out our events calendar or read more about our annual and monthly meet ups.

Action MeetingAction Meetings takes place the second Monday of every month from 7-9 pm at the LEPOCO Peace Center. All are welcome to attend.

Book Group:  The group chooses books to be read and discussed at once monthly discussion meetings. The books are chosen by members of the group.  The book group meets on the first Tuesday of every month, except January and August. All are welcome.  Please call the LEPOCO office, 610-691-8730, if you’d like to join.

Peace VigilEvery second Thursday from 4:30-5:30 pm(4-5 during daylight saving), LEPOCO holds a vigil for peace at the south approach to the Hill-to-Hill Bridge, Third & Wyandotte Streets. Join us in standing witness, bring your own sign, or hold one of ours.

Popcorn/Potluck and Politics: We regularly host movies and discussion groups to explore issues important to our members. Check out the upcoming schedule for Popcorn and Politics (our movie series) and Potluck and Politics (our discussion series) or the events calendar.

Stop the Drones Demonstration: The last Saturday of every month at noon, Brandywine Peace Community holds a witness to end drone warfare and terror at the Horsham Air Guard Station.

Martin Luther King Jr Remembrance Day: Every year, the Stop the Wars committee plans and facilitates an event in January, in remembrance of Martin Luther King, Jr.

LEPOCO Annual Dinner: Every year, LEPOCO holds an annual dinner to honor the organization and welcome a guest speaker.

Peace-A-Thon For Bikers and Walkers: In the spring, LEPOCO members bike or walk along D&L canal towpath for peace.

Peace Camp: Young people (grades K through 8th), teens, and adults are invited to participate in this week of stories, games, music and crafts each July.

Hiroshima & Nagasaki RemembranceEvery year, LEPOCO holds a remembrance to honor those impacted by the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as speak out against the continued procurement of nuclear weapons.

Peace PilgrimageLEPOCO is a sponsor for the annual Christmas Peace Pilgrimage, which makes its way from Nazareth to Bethlehem as a witness for peace.
