Popcorn & Politics

Ted Morgan and Mary Lou Hatcher spent three weeks traveling in Vietnam and Cambodia last month (January 2017).  It was their first visit to these countries.  Ted has spent his life writing (two books on the 1960s) and teaching at Lehigh University (“Social Movements and Legacies of the 1960s” and “Propaganda, Media & American Politics”) about the Vietnam anti-war movement (receiving high praise for his work from Bill Moyers when Moyers spoke at Lehigh University).  Now retired as a professor of political science, he participated in the Vietnam anti-war movement and served as a conscientious objector to that war.  Mary Lou Hatcher is on the national board of the Friends Committee on National Legislation, is active in the Philadelphia Yearly (Quaker) Meeting and works as a spiritual director at Princeton Seminary.
